Tobacco Road FC Returns Home Versus Carolina Dynamo

DURHAM, NC – Tobacco Road FC returns home to face the Carolina Dynamo on Friday night at 7 p.m. The match will be played at Durham County Memorial Stadium. 

Series History:

Tobacco Road FC last met Carolina Dynamo on May 12, the first match of the season for both clubs. Mustapha Wadda scored two in his debut game to propel Los Toros to a 2-0 victory. In the PDL, Tobacco Road holds the advantage over Carolina Dynamo with three wins and a loss. 

Divisional Standings: 

Currently in the South Atlantic Division Standings, Tobacco Road FC sits in fifth with 10 points on three wins, four losses and a tie. Carolina Dynamo remain at the bottom of the table in sixth place with five points by the way of one win, seven losses and two ties.

Tobacco Road travelled to Charlotte on Wednesday and played out a scoreless draw with the Charlotte Eagles. Although Tobacco Road FC registered their most shots of the season (16) during the match.

Alexander Moztarzadeh’s goal in the 59th minute put North Carolina FC U-23 over the Carolina Dynamo Tuesday at WakeMed Soccer Park. NCFC U-23 controlled the match, outshooting the Dynamo 11-2. 

Match Promotions:

Friday’s match will feature a 50/50 raffle. Tickets will be sold one ticket for $2 or three tickets for $5 and will be available for the raffle at the gate. In addition to receiving half of the money collected the winner of the raffle will also receive a Tobacco Road FC scarf.

Face painting will be at the match for fans. Food trucks will also be at the match for fans enjoyment. In addition to a traditional food truck, Mighty Frozen will be at the match serving ice cream and other cold treats to help fans stay cool.
