Tobacco Road Futbol Club is a grassroots story that began when two friends cultivated the idea that the the Bull City would support a soccer team focused on local players.  The idea was simple – provide playing opportunities at the highest levels, establish a strong connection with the Durham community and have some fun along the way.

In 2014, Cedric Burke and Seth Kaplan took the first step towards making that idea a reality when they re-branded Triangle Adult Soccer League’s Telepathic Graphics (formerly Clockwork Orange) into Tobacco Road FC.  The club – dominant at the amateur level – began a progression that would end in the Premier Development League – the nations top development league – three short years later.

TRFC is deeply rooted in its core value of dedication – to its community, its supporters and its players – both on the field and off the field.
